LONDON PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

To quote the words of Edward Steichen "a portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it". In my own approach to portrait photography I like to create portrait photos that do not just show what you look like, but photos that tell something about who you are as a person. To achieve that I create an environment that allows you to feel at ease and be yourself, and I then use a mixture of lighting and perspective to create the photo.

LONDON PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT IN A FEW EASY STEPS

Even though I do strongly believe that it is the photographer who creates the photo and not the camera, at my London portrait photography studio I only use professional grade equipment, as that allows me to deliver the best possible quality of work. On top of the standard plain colours backgrounds you see in most studios, I also make my own hand painted canvas backgrounds, and I have a collection of antique props that I use to add character and uniqueness to the portrait photos I create.
